Monkey Island - Fact or Urban Myth?
Yes there are monkeys in the low country! On Morgan's Island, SC, the corporation known as Alpha Genesis raises monkeys for research. These monkeys have the run of the island. While you can see them from your boat, you cannot gain access to the island. There are no trespassing signs and signs asking you not to feed the monkeys.
